BRINGING HOPE TO THE HOPELESS

IGNITING HOPE AND EMPOWERING SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN ETHIOPIA

Our mission is to end human trafficking of women and children in Ethiopia.

We are a non-profit organization in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Springs of Living Water was founded in 2019 by Bereket K. Mamo after she felt called by God to return to Ethiopia to work with women and children who have been rescued out of human trafficking.

Springs of Living Water defines Human Trafficking as a crime involving the exploitation of a person for labor, services, or commercial sex.

A Safe Place Where Healing, Hope, and the Love of Jesus Can Begin

Springs of Living Water has a 20 bed Emergency Shelter called The Samaritan House which offers safe residence providing specialized victim-centered support, trauma-free services, and emergency shelter for young women fleeing from human trafficking. The women we serve are among the poorest of the poor.

Rescue

Girls and women are empowered to obtain an education, learn a trade, find work, and live life to the fullest.

Rehabilitate

Girls and women who are rescued receive appropriate care through counseling, prayer and trauma-informed support.

Restore

Girls and women who have successfully completed the Rescue and Rehabilitate programs will transition to the real-world healed, trained, and equipped to make a living and sustain themselves.

We invite you to join us in this mission.

“Believe in Me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!”
