Springs of Living Water’s existing rental property that houses 20 beds will be closing in April 2024 due to the landlord’s desire to relocate and live in the existing Samaritan House. After much thought and consideration, Springs of Living Water’s Board of Directors has decided to build a new 8-bedroom house that holds up to 45 beds, a modern-style home that serves young women and children fleeing from human trafficking.

The Need For More Space To Serve More
Springs of Living Water is a non-profit 501c(3) organization started in 2019 that serves victims of human trafficking. As one of the only agencies in Ethiopia meeting the needs of these victims, Springs of Living Water plays a vital role, annually serving at least 50 people directly. 2023 saw a 35% increase in clients served and a 42.9% increase in the demand for services related to human trafficking. There is need, for more space to serve additional survivors and provide more specialized survivor-centered support, trauma-informed services, and emergency shelter.
We need more space to share the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to more survivors.
What We Are Requesting Help With
In order to meet this need, Springs of Living Water is requesting individual donors , corporate sponsors and faith -based community support and funding to build a new 8-bedroom Samaritan House to serve several purposes: (1) provide a trauma-informed separate emergency housing space for victims of human trafficking to aid in their recovery; (2) make it possible to keep clients safe and away from their abusers/traffickers; and (3) help provide a setting for Samaritan House clients to receive confidential advocacy, supportive programing, and vocational training.
Springs of Living Water is seeking $150,000 in financial support to build the new Samaritan House.
Samaritan House Will Serve Four Important Functions.

We Need Your Help
We project the need of an additional $150,000 to build out a new Samaritan House. This is where we need your help.
Although gifts of any size are welcome, in these initial stages of our campaign we are seeking gifts of at least $2,000 each, which may be paid over the next two years. Gifts of $50,000 qualify for naming opportunities.
You may consider talking with your financial advisor or attorney as to the benefits of pledging through an annual IRA distribution or transfer of appreciated stock.
